This is my latest bit of artwork, a picture of Sekhmet that I painted for my beau. I don't think her face turned out quite right (a lioness head was harder than I thought it would be!), but I'm confident that I'll get it next time. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

I began writing on papyrus earlier this year - it's hard! So I can't imagine how difficult getting a great image through painting must be!
ReplyDeleteYou did well. I have also found getting Sekhmet's face right to be challenging. Practice has helped.
Thank you! Papyrus takes quite a bit of patience, doesn't it? But it's always rewarding when it comes out. :)
